On August 6, 2021, the tower received an update to be fairer and less boring courtesy of Jukereise, with additional balance updates by Lightsynth. It was announced by Jukereise that ToT was undergoing a update that would change the tower to make it more fair and fun. Additionally, the original version was the first tower to use buttons and beat blocks (although both functioned very differently from their current incarnations). Some include fake blocks, invisible paths, and sudden conveyors. This tower, as the name suggests, is filled to the brim with many traps to try and trick the player. Tower of Traps ( ToT) is a Challenging difficulty, ascension-based Tower located in Ring 2. For the tower in Legacy Event 2023, see Tower of Trouble.
